Job Detail
- Schedule and coordinate technicians to meet service demands and customer expectations.
- Provide hands-on technical support and leadership in field service operations.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train plumbing technicians to maintain a high-performing team.
- Supervise and evaluate technician performance, offering guidance and improvement plans when needed.
- Ensure all service work meets quality, safety, and technical standards.
- Develop and implement training programs focused on the latest plumbing techniques and safety protocols.
- Hold regular team meetings for training, updates, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate daily with dispatch to optimize technician schedules based on skill level and job priority.
- Monitor budgets, departmental goals, and key performance indicators to drive profitability.
- Review work orders, invoices, and technician reports for accuracy and timely billing.
- Manage parts and inventory procurement to avoid project delays.
- Enforce company policies and procedures consistently across the team.
- Oversee service vehicle usage, maintenance, and inventory to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Coordinate with other department managers to support company-wide goals and projects. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a leadership role within commercial plumbing service industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent team leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to train and develop technicians with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and department-level management.
- Proficiency in interpreting work orders, project documentation, and reporting tools.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
