Master Plumber’s License preferred.
Job Detail
- Possesses working knowledge of water supply, waste systems, fire suppression sprinklers, irrigation sprinklers, fire hydrants, and dry wells.
- Demonstrates knowledge in clearing waste lines with snakes, blow bags, plungers, and Jetta’s.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
- A valid New York State Driver’s License required.
- Must work well in a customer-based environment.
- Ability to understand and carry out writ10and verbal instructions.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Town of Hempstead/Village of Hempstead Master Plumber’s License preferred.
- Backflow Prevention Device Testing Certificate is a plus.
- Suppression Sprinkler Maintenance Certificate desired.
- Task 87 Certification encouraged.

- $53.54 per hour Additional Information Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience and education.
