Master Plumber’s License preferred.

Job Detail
  • Possesses working knowledge of water supply, waste systems, fire suppression sprinklers, irrigation sprinklers, fire hydrants, and dry wells.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in clearing waste lines with snakes, blow bags, plungers, and Jetta’s.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • A valid New York State Driver’s License required.
  • Must work well in a customer-based environment.
  • Ability to understand and carry out writ10and verbal instructions.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Town of Hempstead/Village of Hempstead Master Plumber’s License preferred.
  • Backflow Prevention Device Testing Certificate is a plus.
  • Suppression Sprinkler Maintenance Certificate desired.
  • Task 87 Certification encouraged.

  • $53.54 per hour Additional Information Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience and education.
