Job Detail
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine plumbing layouts and installation procedures.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage in accordance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete installations and repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites.
- Conduct remodeling projects by replacing fixtures and upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, landscapers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of plumbing within overall construction plans.
- Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing and heating systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project records.
- Experience
- At least 3-5 years in plumbing and gas work.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC and Gas is a plus but not required.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery safely and effectively.
- Prior experience in remodeling or renovation projects involving plumbing components is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently while maintaining safety standards.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout planning.
