Job Detail
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Perform all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
- Conduct walk-through inspections. of domestic water systems to include water booster pumps, gauges, boilers temperature readings, and pumps, irrigation systems and testing.
- Repair plumbing systems throughout the property and on off-site facilities.
- Repair showers, sinks, toilets, water booster pumps and recirculation pumps.
- Record gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
- Maintain technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
- Must be able to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans, and diagrams and drawings.
- Excellent Soldering and brazing skills are needed. Experience with Toro pipe and PVC pipe is also needed.
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the plumbing trade.
- Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes.
- Knowledge of the mechanical operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, heaters, and other plumbing components.
- Skill in the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of plumbing systems.
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Display strong work ethic and team work.
- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Six years of plumbing experience. and/or a combination of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
