Job Detail
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct field service calls to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary for installations or repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, during construction or remodeling projects.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of construction plumbing practices.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in plumbing installation and repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Experience in remodeling projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Welding skills are considered an asset for specific plumbing tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
