Job Detail
- Weld and assemble piping systems using various methods (TIG, MIG, stick, brazing, soldering, etc
- )
- Fit, align, and secure pipe systems and supports according to specifications and drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Fabricate and install copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, and PVC piping
- Perform rigging, demo, and installation work on HVAC retrofit projects
- Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company policies

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent - 3 years of experience in pipe welding or mechanical retrofit environments
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Soldering or brazing copper pipe
- Welding carbon or stainless steel pipe
- Fitting or threading steel and PVC pipe Ability to pass a pipe welding test (administered at our Bloomington shop)
- Skilled at reading and following mechanical drawings and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Southern California
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety mindset

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: $30 – $50 per hour (based on experience and certification) - Per diem and hotel accommodations provided for overnight travel
- Paid travel time to and from job sites

- Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

- Dependent on the position offered and forms of compensation that be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits
California Pay Range
$30—$40 USD
