Job Detail
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools to achieve smooth, even coverage.
- Execute residential/ Multifamily painting projects including wall coverings, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration work with precision.
- Perform commercial and industrial painting tasks on various surfaces like stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and metal structures.
- Assist with renovation projects involving demolition, framing, plastering, drywall installation, and finishing touches.
- Perform caulking and sealing around windows, doors, fixtures. handle fixture installation. support restoration efforts. and contribute to remodeling initiatives.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools such as hand tools and power tools. ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Collaborate with team members including carpenters and maintenance person professionals to complete comprehensive construction projects efficiently.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial painting with a strong understanding of construction painting techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers. proficient with power tools including airless sprayers.
- Familiarity with color theory for selecting appropriate hues and finishes that meet client specifications.
- Experience in plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing or related trades is highly desirable.
- Background in renovation projects involving framing carpentry or restoration work is advantageous.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately while applying basic math skills for measurements.
- Strong safety awareness on construction sites. capable of working at heights on scaffolding or ladders safely.
- Maintenance Person experience or skills in fixture installation support versatile project execution.
