Job Detail
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and power tools to achieve smooth, even coverage
- Assist with renovation projects including drywall installation, trim carpentry, framing, masonry work, stucco application, and fixture installation
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting and construction tasks according to project specifications
- Use construction estimating skills to assess materials needed for each project and assist in cost-effective planning
- Perform demolition or removal of old finishes as needed for restoration or remodeling projects
- Operate construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols on-site
- Support construction site activities by moving materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting skilled trades such as carpentry or masonry teams
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure standards are met before project handover
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for project documentation
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards

- Previous experience in residential or commercial painting is highly preferred. familiarity with industrial painting is a plus
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities including framing, drywall installation, plastering, masonry or renovation work
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, brushes, rollers, power tools (drills, sanders), welding equipment, and airless paint sprayers
- Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate finishes and achieve desired aesthetic effects
- Basic math skills for measurements and estimating material quantities
- Experience with maintenance tasks or maintenance person work is advantageous
- Ability to operate construction machinery like concrete finishers or masonry tools is a bonus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
