Job Detail
- Process waste through the compactor pit at the transfer station, clean pit and yard
- Perform pre-trip/ post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily work sheet for equipment operated
- Change-out trailers in the yard, and perform other solid waste tasks as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required Basic Qualifications: A valid Florida CDL Class “A” driver’s license for at least 1(1) year (with NO E RESTRICTION)
- Ability to drive manual transmission on commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc…
- Ability to obtain 1year valid DOT medical card from Disney’s Health Services
- Ability to pass the Disney road test
- Recent tractor-trailer experience or experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc…
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent writ10and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating solid waste vehicles such as: Front-loaders, side-loaders, box trucks, and roll offs Additional Information: Schedule Availability Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.
