Job Detail
- Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials such as asphalt shingles, metal panels, tiles, or membranes according to project specifications
- Repair and replace damaged or aging roofs to extend their lifespan and improve safety
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately to fit specific areas of the roof structure
- Use hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently during all phases of roofing work
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress
- Skills
- Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar roofing installation
- Knowledge of different roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights comfortably
- Excellent problem-solving skills to assess issues quickly and determine effective solutions
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
