Job Detail
  • Operate Big Equipment: Work daily with a variety of machines including haul trucks, skid steers, water trucks, and dredges.

  • What You’ll Do Perform pre- and post-shift inspections on heavy equipment and report issues promptly.
  • Safely operate assigned equipment, including haul trucks, backhoes, skid steers, and water trucks.
  • Load, unload, transport, stockpile, and feed crushers and screens as needed.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas, including general plant housekeeping and “Ground Man” duties.
  • Assist with basic equipment servicing and minor repairs.
  • Conduct area safety audits and consistently follow MSHA and company safety policies.
  • Adapt to varied terrain and working conditions, including outdoor weather and sloped or uneven ground.
  • What You’ll Bring High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience operating heavy mobile equipment in mining, aggregates, or construction.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a team environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  • Familiarity with MSHA standards is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel to various plant locations, work weekends/overtime, and adapt to changing schedules.
