Job Detail
- Maintain a positive, solutions-focused, and productive attitude in support of plant goals for reliability, safety, integrity, quality, and overall performance
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assemble mechanical components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and other equipment
- Utilize forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment to transport components within the facility
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting to identify and address issues during assembly and ensure proper documentation of corrective actions
- Collaborate with team members to solve production challenges and meet daily targets
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks and support engineering or electrical teams when needed
- Maintain accurate production records, including parts assembled and quantities completed
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience using hand tools and operating forklifts
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and safe work practices
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field - Demonstrated experience or prior certification in operating overhead cranes
- Familiarity with mechanical fitting in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs and transport objects as needed - Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing
- Manual dexterity to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments where temperatures exceed 100°F or fall below 32°F, including exposure to environmental elements
