- Assembly: Build fuel filters, components, and sub-assemblies following engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Tool Operation: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment to align, fit, and secure mechanical parts
- Quality Control: Inspect materials and finished assemblies for accuracy and defects; ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Testing: Conduct performance and functionality tests on assembled products to confirm operation under required conditions
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and correct mechanical issues during assembly, collaborating with supervisors and engineers as needed
- Documentation: Accurately complete production and quality reports, including checklists, test logs, and inventory tracking forms
- Safety: Follow all company safety rules and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to continuously improve assembly processes and product performance
Qualifications
Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Skilled in construction of wiring harnesses and plug assemblies
- Experience testing and verifying assembled components
- Capable of performing inventory counts and maintaining parts organization
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
