- Minimum Qualification:
- High school diploma/GED and 3(3) years of experience in the area of assignment, which includes 2(2) years in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role. or 1(1) year of experience at the lower level Mechanic 3 (FET062) or position equivalent.
- Preferred Qualification:
- Two years of experience in Heavy Equipment Maintenance of Diesel Mechanics.
- Two years of experience diagnosing issues and ordering parts/supplies for heavy equipment and construction equipment.
- Two years of experience using State of Georgia purchasing procedures, obtaining quotes, preparing in-house requests.
- One year of experience using Outlook, Excel, or Peoplesoft Financials.
- Note:
- The daily report to site is the Engineering and Construction Services Shop/Warehouse located behind the grounds of Central State Prison in Macon, GA.
