Job Detail
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in various settings including residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct construction estimating to assess project requirements and material needs.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required for installations or repairs.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as necessary for transporting materials or equipment on-site.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide field service support for emergency plumbing issues as they arise.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Skills
- Proficient in construction plumbing techniques with hands-on experience in the field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for effective installations.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Experience with carpentry is beneficial for remodeling projects involving plumbing work.
- Previous experience in maintenance person services or general maintenance is advantageous.
