Job Detail
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
  • Repair or replace vehicle parts such as brakes, suspensions, steering components, and alignments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs with precision.
  • Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features such as lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance systems.
  • Conduct wheel alignments and balance tires to manufacturer specifications for safety and longevity.
  • Maintain detailed service records and document all repairs accurately for each vehicle serviced.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and answering questions professionally.
  • Assist in auto estimating processes by assessing vehicle conditions and recommending necessary repairs or services.
  • Stay current on automotive industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer updates through ongoing training.
  • Experience
  • Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
  • Experience working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with ADAS technology, vehicle maintenance procedures, wheel alignment equipment, and welding techniques is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and effectively.
  • Service technician experience that highlights mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills is ideal.
