Job Detail
- Translate prototype and low-volume designs into production-ready engineering packages, defining and documenting clear, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing processes
- Serve as the primary manufacturing liaison with design and engineering teams, converting ambiguous design details into concrete Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts
- Work closely with procurement to vet, select, and manage a reliable supply base, establishing and managing inventory control systems to ensure accurate material tracking
- Prepare and manage prototype and initial production builds, overseeing the transition from one-off bench testing to larger, repeatable build lots
- Develop process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA) and establish appropriate quality gates, driving continuous process improvement
Essential Skills
Proven expertise in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), process documentation, and assembly requirements- Strong grasp of supply chain management, vendor qualification, and inventory control principles
- Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous design input and drive it to a clear, actionable, and scalable manufacturing solution
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field- Experience in Production or Manufacturing Engineering roles focused on hardware
- Direct experience within the automotive, aerospace, or advanced hardware production industries is highly desirable
- Experience with CAD software (e

- , SolidWorks, Catia) and familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
