Job Detail
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment to produce precision components.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for machining tasks.
- Maintain tooling and equipment for optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to improve processes and product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Experience with tooling setup and maintenance is essential.
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
