Job Detail
- Prepares and maintains athletic fields and sport courts to include dragging and striping fields, setting bases, mowing, weed eating, cleaning restrooms and trash removal
- Maintains, repairs area parks and facilities to include: mowing, weed eating, edging, tree pruning, play structures, pavilions, fencing, lighting, irrigation systems, sidewalks, parking lots, restroom cleaning, tree planting, and trash removal
- Operates and performs minor maintenance of mowers, edgers, blowers, trucks, trailers, utility vehicles, infield rake, and hand tools
- Identifies maintenance repairs and turns in related requests to supervisor
- Completes and submits required paperwork
- Assists with preparation of special events, tournaments, and league practices to include the set-up, staging, and clean-up
- Ensures City financial policies, procedures, and safety guidelines followed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience in maintenance or operating related equipment
- Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience in landscape, ballfield, or horticulture maintenance or related field
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft applications
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid driver’s license
