Job Detail
- The Maintenance Technician performs inspections and maintenance of the building including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and electronic systems, carpentry/construction, painting, etc. and general building repair, cleaning and upkeep.
- He/she performs upkeep on grounds maintenance, snow removal of sidewalks and parking lot, planter/grass, sprinkler system and signage.
- The Maintenance Technician maintains and services all casino vehicles.
- He/she monitors the wastewater lagoons and septic systems at The Bay store, campground and fish cleaning station.
- He/she assists in the training of new staff members and performs any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Director or Maintenance Lead.
- Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Writ10System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance. PREREQUISITES:
- Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal non-gaming license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision. Must have a valid driver’s license. EDUCATION:
- High school graduate or GED. EXPERIENCE:
- Two years experience in maintenance preferred. PHYSICAL:
- Must be physically able to withstand continued walking, standing, and kneeling for periods of 8 hours or more and be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to reach to higher levels.
