Job summary we are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities.

$23.53 – $28.33 an hour

Job Detail
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust equipment functions.
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting as needed for facility upkeep.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation to execute repairs accurately.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Lead or participate in team efforts to improve maintenance procedures and facility operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
- Skills
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics and the use of tools such as ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge including troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance skills.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting.
- Welding skills for on-site repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Facilities maintenance expertise including plumbing, painting, and general building upkeep.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management.
- Supervising or leadership experience in a manufacturing or facilities environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and customer service principles related to internal support functions.
