winncompanies is looking for a dependable maintenance technician i to join our team at bonnie brae terrace, a 164-unit affordable senior community located in belmont, ca.. . in this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots maintaining the property to satisfy ownership and management objectives.. . these are some of the most important things we need to maintain our properties and keep our residents happy. if you’re looking to make a difference with your skilled trades knowledge and excellent customer service, then we want to hear from you.. . the pay range for this role is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour dependent on experience. please note that selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: monday through friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. this is a full-time position with rotational on call duties.. . responsibilities. .
Experience
Occupational Experience of 1 Years is required
Job Detail
- Perform repairs in such areas as, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures
- Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status in accordance to company standards
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities
- Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year or less of relevant work experience in apartment maintenance- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and/or carpentry
- Basic familiarity with computers and tablets
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational or technical training- CAMT certification
