Job Detail
- Respond promptly to maintenance-related incidents such as spills, leaks, or equipment malfunctions to minimize safety risks
- Perform general maintenance tasks
- Support compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations and internal EHS protocols, including proper disposal of waste and scrap
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and safety-related corrective actions
- Assist maintenance technician when required
- Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance
- Ability to become certified and operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and Scissor Lift
- Collaborate with the EHS Manager to identify and mitigate facility hazards
- Adhere to 5S standards to promote orderliness and accountability
- Support Stockton’s ISO 9001 certification and future ISO 45001 compliance efforts through consistent documentation and safe work practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in maintenance trades preferred - 1 to 2 years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Perform work under minimal supervision
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Competencies/ Skills
Ability to interpret work instructions - Basic computer skills and be able to enter and close out maintenance work orders
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and techniques
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in varying temperatures and high places
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Hourly Rate: $23 - 00 – $27
