Job Detail
  • Inspect, diagnose, and perform minor to moderate repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
  • Support the maintenance team with scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and compliance standards.
  • Parts Inventory Management:
  • Source and order parts, materials, and supplies from approved vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, warranties, and usage.
  • Track and control parts costs and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers to secure cost-effective and reliable parts procurement.
  • Administrative Coordination Duties:
  • Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and service records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating equipment downtime to minimize operational disruption.
  • Communicate with drivers and supervisors about vehicle conditions, repair status, and parts availability.
  • Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Truck or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Proven experience in parts ordering, inventory control, and vendor management.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  • Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and parts management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
