Job Detail
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise and lead maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to operations.
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Electrical skills with familiarity in using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams or projects.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
