Job Detail
- Install, terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems
- Implement, activate, and support CCTV, Access Control, Video Management, and intrusion systems
- Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, test equipment
- Read project drawings, specifications, submittals and develop project implementation plans
- Utilize Excel, Word, Outlook, and associated business applications to communicate/document project
- Maintain and require safety requirements and support safety efforts of the organization
- Accomplishes work in accordance with expectations and ensure national and local codes and industry standards are maintained
- Provide updates to as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies
- Attend/hold Tool Box safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc
- Obtain OSHA 30 Safety and Health standards certification
- Extended hours or weekend overtime be available
Education And Experience
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, depending on position
5 Years of field experience performing Low Voltage and/or Security systems- BICSI certification desirable but not required
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to commute to field locations and various job sites- The employee must have the ability to navigate around job site locations
