Job Detail
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and thermostats.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs.
- Work with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration as needed.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welders for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in residential or commercial properties.
- Document service performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the construction or mechanical field.
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and refrigeration processes.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques and field service operations.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Experience with boiler systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
