- Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues (residential and light commercial) Perform scheduled maintenance, tune-ups, and inspections Conduct system diagnostics and complete accurate documentation of service calls Install and upgrade heating and cooling equipment when required Ensure compliance with Rhode Island HVAC codes and safety standards Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication Attend manufacturer and in-house training sessions
- Qualifications 3–5 years of HVAC service experience (required) Rhode Island Journeyman License (required) Valid HVAC license or equivalent field experience Experience with oil systems and geothermal systems (preferred) Rhode Island Pipefitter and/or Refrigeration License (preferred) EPA Type II Certification (preferred) Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform manual tasks Flexibility to work varied hours and participate in on-call rotations
