Job Detail
  • Job Title: Licensed Electrician Department: Maintenance / Facilities Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facilities Manager
  • Summary: The Licensed Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This role ensures safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure across the facility. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes. Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to support facility operations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly and effectively. Assist in planning and executing electrical upgrades or new installations.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. technical training or apprenticeship preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Required Certifications:
  • State-issued Electrician License (must be current and valid) OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (depending on site requirements) NFPA 70E Certification (Electrical Safety in the Workplace) CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training (required for equipment safety compliance) Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying environmental conditions. Manual dexterity and physical stamina required for handling tools and equipment. Benefits Clear vision and purpose
