Job Detail
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Perform electrical work on projects ranging from small repairs (outlets, switches, fixtures) to complete electrical installations (foundation to rooftop)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
- Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Install and maintain electrical panels, circuit breakers, wiring, and conduit systems
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Assist customers with obtaining city building and construction permits
- Provide accurate project estimates and timelines to customers
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with plumbing and HVAC team members on integrated projects
- Respond to emergency service calls within our 25-mile service radius
- Maintain clean and safe work sites
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding project status and recommendations Required Qualifications Valid Electrician License (State of Missouri or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician
- Thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
- Experience with residential and commercial electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience with both new construction and remodeling projects
- Knowledge of permit application processes
- Familiarity with Square D and Eaton electrical products
- Experience working in a team environment with other trades
- Customer service experience
- Certifications in specialized electrical systems (solar, generators, smart home technology) Work Environment Schedule Location: 1103 E Java Rd, Carthage, MO
- Service Area: 25-mile radius from Carthage
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm CST
- Work at customer locations throughout the service area
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions
