Job Detail
- Installs residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specifications
- Works under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in the customer’s home
- Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required
- Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner
- Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Follows standard procedures and processes to ensure that the job progression stays on time.
- Able to instruct and educate laborers/helpers assisting on the job
- Other miscellaneous duties as requested by manager(s)
- Represent Schagrin Home Comfort Products in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years minimum HVAC installation in the field
- Thorough knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts and their functions
- Must have or be able to obtain maintain a DOT Medical Certification due to vehicle weight
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license, in good standing
- Excellent verbal and writ10communication skills, as well as attention to detail
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs minimum.
- Must be able to follow OSHA requirements and safety precautions per company procedures and policies.
- Must provide own basic hand tools
- Capable of working in an environment both inside and outside, in all weather, and may involve some confined spaces
- Physically capable of performing duties that include standing for long periods of time, walking, and climbing ladders
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Must have universal EPA refrigerant certification
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings and diagrams
- Possess basic math skills and capable of reading a ruler and accurately computing measurements
- Willingness to arrive on time and show motivation in daily work
- Must comply with Schagrin Home Comfort Products drug testing policy
- Schedule Requirements
- Available to work Monday through Friday, from 7:30am-4:30pm
- Must be able to meet short deadlines with the availability to work variable hours when project requires
- Required to be on-call on a rotating basis once trained. Must be readily available while on-call. Available by phone, text, and/or email during after-hours and weekends.

- This is an hourly, non-exempt position
- Pay range is between $60,000 to $100,000 per year with incentives This position description does not list all the duties of the position.
