Lead Experienced HVAC Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Experienced HVAC Technician to oversee and perform complex heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration system installations, repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical knowledge, field service experience, and leadership skills to guide a team of technicians. This role involves working on diverse projects including property maintenance, appliance repair, plumbing, and HVAC design. A valid driver’s license is required to facilitate travel between job sites. The position offers an opportunity to lead technical operations while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
Lead and coordinate HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance projects across commercial and residential properties.
Interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC system designs to ensure accurate implementation.
Diagnose complex mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
Perform refrigeration work including ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R applications.
Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property maintenance.
Repair and maintain air conditioning units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
Utilize welding skills for equipment repair or fabrication needs.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
Supervise field service operations, providing technical guidance to team members.
Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, repairs, and inspections.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R systems with a strong background in construction, property maintenance, or appliance repair.
Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems troubleshooting.
Skilled in refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration applications.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and equipment repair techniques.
Ability to perform welding and boiler maintenance tasks as needed.
Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, air conditioning systems, and general equipment repair.
Field service experience with a track record of leading technical teams effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
