Job Detail
- Oversee and coordinate carpentry projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to specifications.
- Perform various carpentry tasks including framing, installation, and finishing work.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs and materials needed.
- Lead a team of carpenters, providing guidance, training, and support as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring proper techniques are used.
- Collaborate with other trades such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
- Skills
- Proficient in framing and finishing work.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Skilled in installation techniques for various materials including wood, metal, and drywall.
- Knowledge of roofing systems and plumb alignment practices is essential.
- Experience with metal stud framing and concrete forming methods is highly desirable.
