Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor landscaping and maintenance projects. This role involves working in diverse environments to support landscape design, installation, and upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for outdoor work, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment to ensure the health and beauty of our clients’ landscapes.
Duties
Assist with lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy turf.
Perform landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, and tree care, including tree trimming and gardening activities.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for construction and hardscape projects.
Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
Assist with the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Maintain equipment and tools through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation.
Follow safety protocols during all activities to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.
Skills
Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping equipment and power tools.
Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery.
Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques.
Ability to perform snow plowing operations safely during winter months.
Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently. Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
