Job Detail
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Estimate materials needed for each project and assist.
- Install fixtures and perform minor repairs.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to ensure project completion.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations throughout the painting process that you will be taught.
- Skills
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in painting and construction tasks.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Previous experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is advantageous but not required.
