Job Detail
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites and remodeling projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and compliance with safety standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble plumbing components securely.
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to site safety protocols.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on existing plumbing infrastructure to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
  • Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and specifications.
  • Execute remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading plumbing systems in existing structures.
  • Follow detailed schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately install complex piping systems in commercial settings.
  • Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations during installation processes.
  • Operate a variety of field service equipment to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site or at client locations.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Document work progress through reports and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project status or issues encountered.
  • Skills
  • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical diagrams.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, screwdrivers. power tools including drills and saws. welding equipment. pipe threading machines. and other specialized construction tools.
  • Knowledge of construction site procedures including heavy lifting techniques and site safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and layout planning.
  • Familiarity with carpentry principles relevant to framing openings or supporting piping installations during remodeling projects.
  • Experience with maintenance tasks for plumbing systems in commercial or residential environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude combined with the ability to read schematics accurately.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites.
  • Maintenance Person experience or general assembly skills are advantageous for versatile project support.
