Job Detail
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs.
- Perform construction plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, welding, and assembly of plumbing components.
- Conduct remodeling, maintenance, and field service work on existing plumbing systems across diverse sites.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to HVAC systems, schematics, and piping layouts.
- Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large pipes or materials on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in confined spaces.
- Collaborate with team members such as carpenters or maintenance person specialists to coordinate project tasks effectively.
- Read basic math measurements accurately for cutting pipes or fitting components.
- Support site preparation activities including heavy lifting, site cleanup, and material handling.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for quality assurance.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of pipe installation, repair techniques, and schematics.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in field service roles is essential.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel requirements.
- Carpentry or maintenance person experience is a plus for versatile project support.
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to all OSHA regulations and safety standards.
