Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial plumbing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in various environments.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks.
Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installations.
Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and performing basic math calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Background in carpentry or maintenance person services is beneficial.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work on construction sites safely.
