Irrigation Field Technician

A growing Fort Myers based landscaping company is looking for an experienced irrigation tech that is Career Minded. (Simply put, we treat our people like family and we need self-motivated, loyal, dependable and reliable people to grow with us.)
Applicant must have a valid Florida driver’s license, clean driving record and working smartphone with data plan to be eligible for the position.
Basic job requirements include:
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in both commercial and residential irrigation systems required
– Knowledge of various irrigation systems and ability to install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential irrigation systems
– Able to diagnose and maintain proper function of timers, control valves, pumps, etc.
– Capable to perform routine maintenance and regularly perform wet checks and repair of one and two-wire irrigation systems
– Can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and complete daily work reports
– Professional representation when dealing with customers
– Must have valid Florida driver’s license and CLEAN driving record

– Starting pay will be based on qualifications
($20 hr. on the lowest side of experience up to $28+ for a well-qualified tech with the right attitude, drive and career mindset. Job offer is $20-$28 but the right candidate can excel and earn higher compensation quickly.)
We typically work four (4) 10+ hour days.
Some weekend and Holiday emergency calls may be required but are very rare.
