Job Detail
- Install HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical equipment according to schematics and design specifications
- Conduct system troubleshooting and repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and specialized equipment repair tools
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to ensure precise installation and maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment, boilers, air conditioning units, and property systems to optimize performance
- Diagnose issues related to ammonia refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and other mechanical components
- Utilize welding techniques for system repairs or modifications when necessary
- Operate a <.PERSON>. driver vehicle safely to transport equipment and materials between job sites
- Conduct field service tasks including appliance repair, property maintenance, and equipment upgrades or replacements
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, inspections, and service reports for accountability and future reference
- Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on HVAC/R, refrigeration, plumbing or mechanical systems
- Service technician experience with hands-on repair and maintenance of complex equipment
- Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles Mechanical knowledge with proficiency in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and property maintenance
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and use testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. experience operating <.PERSON>. driver vehicles preferred
- Field service experience demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues efficiently
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques and general maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities
