Job Detail
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs powering our scientific computation platform
  • Architect and manage the infrastructure that supports large-scale compute clusters and distributed workflows
  • Build automation tools for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud and on-prem compute resources
  • Implement observability systems (logging, metrics, tracing) for distributed services
  • Manage data pipelines and services integrating large, multi-format scientific datasets


  • Requirements

    3 years of professional experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience designing and maintaining REST or gRPC APIs
  • Strong foundation in backend development, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
  • Understanding of system monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, load balancing, security)


  • Preferred Skills

    Passion for scientific computing, high-performance systems, and engineering excellence
  • Familiarity with HPC, GPU computing, or scientific simulation systems
  • Experience with cloud networking, VPC management, and hybrid infrastructure
  • Familiarity with container orchestration across heterogeneous compute (CPU/GPU/FPGA)
  • Experience with on-premise infrastructure
  • Experience with performance profiling and debugging at the system level
