Job Detail
  • Works with Electrical Team, Operations, Engineers, Planners, Coordinators, ACGKs, Turnaround Group by providing electrical expertise and technical support
  • Assists in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance through planner, work coordinator and operations input
  • Repairs, maintains and improves equipment reliability
  • Including but not limited to transformers, breakers, synchronous motors, batteries systems, VFDs, generators, relays, grounding, infrareds, heat tracing, and high voltage switching
  • Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems
  • Own and maintain procedures
  • Execute MOC process
  • Coordinates spare parts optimization
  • Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions and documents failure analysis
  • Collects equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements
  • Serves as positive influential leader in maintenance zone
  • Works within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work


  • Qualifications

    5 or more years of electrical maintenance or related experience is required
  • Current, valid US driver’s license is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, is required
  • Experience with high voltage switching is required
  • Experience with electrical relays is required
  • Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card

  • Preferred Qualifications

    Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i

  • Associate’s Degree) or certificate in an electrical related field is preferred
  • Experience using SAP is preferred

    Equipment Diagnostics and Troubleshooting – Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve equipment malfunctions using systematic problem-solving techniques to maintain safe and reliable operations
  • Calibration and Alignment – Skill in setting up, calibrating, and aligning instruments and controls—including pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems—to ensure accurate performance
  • Preventive Maintenance Execution – Competence in performing scheduled maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and extend asset life
  • Technical Specification and Installation – Expertise in specifying, requisitioning, and installing parts and equipment according to operational requirements and safety standards
  • Reliability Data Analysis – Ability to collect and interpret equipment operation and history data to identify trends and support reliability improvement initiatives
  • Maintenance Planning and Coordination – Skill in collaborating with planners, work coordinators, and operations teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities effectively
