Job Detail
- Installations, check-outs and troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems.
- Verification and documentation of test results and diagnosis of electrical systems
- Installation of various forms of pipe (rigid, aluminum, IMC, EMT, PVC Duct Systems)
- Installation of electrical controls and devices
- Properly use High Voltage PPE
- Properly use and maintain tools and equipment owned by J. Davis Construction
- Ability to research NEC when necessary for projects.
- Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience with industrial electrical work.
- Basic knowledge of all electrical systems (3 phase, single phase, low voltage, control wiring systems, etc.)
- Grounding
- Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, one-line drawings, cut sheets and PI drawings.
- Ability to operate electrical test equipment.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E
- Basic understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC)
