Job Detail
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and optimize equipment performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards while performing all tasks.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Handle high voltage and low voltage systems safely and efficiently.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed, including frame carpentry and general maintenance tasks.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Previous renovation experience is a plus.
