We are looking for EXPERIENCED installers ONLY at this time. We require you to be on time, reliable, have your own tools, your own car, a good DL, available for over time, take PRIDE in your finish work and sealing, attention to detail and want to produce the best finished product possible.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Impact Window and Door Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing, securing, and finishing impact-resistant windows and doors on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Responsibilities
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to prepare openings, frame structures, and secure fixtures.
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and alignment of windows and doors.
Perform heavy lifting safely to transport and position large impact units during installation.
Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation techniques to ensure airtight seals and finished appearances.
Conduct metal stud framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and frame carpentry as needed for proper support structures.
Use welding skills when necessary for metal components or reinforcement work.
Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects requiring electrical experience or locksmithing skills.
Follow safety protocols at all times while working on construction sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered during installations.
Assist in fabricating custom components or modifications using mechanical knowledge to meet specific project requirements.
Support other trades such as electrical or maintenance person tasks as part of a cohesive project team.
Skills
Proven experience in glass installation, impact window/door installation, and construction site work.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to impact protection products.
Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), welding equipment, and fabrication tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout the workday.
Skilled in door hanging, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, fixture installation, cabinet installation, metal stud framing, and remodeling projects.
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of lock systems (locksmithing) and electrical basics for integrated systems.
Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing and sealing installations effectively.
Familiarity with schematics related to mechanical or electrical components involved in window/door systems.
Knowledge of construction safety practices including OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site for unforeseen challenges.

Pay: $28.00 – $37.00 per hour
