- Roles Responsibilities
- As a SCADA Controls Technician, you will: Troubleshoot emergency and non-emergency electrical control problems
- Troubleshoot sensors, controls panel components, radio and telemetry, and PLCs.
- Build and upgrade control panels in the shop and in the field. Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements
- To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: More than 2 years troubleshooting controls
- ISA or/and EPRI certifications
- Supports UIS’ core values
- Member of the IBEW or willing to join
- NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship
- Strong aptitude for technical challenges and troubleshooting. Has a hands-on approach when necessary.
- Aptitude for building relationships
- Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, positive attitude.
- Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, embraces new challenges, will do the necessary research to find the right solution. About Team UIS:
