Job Detail
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Conduct service calls for repairs on air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other technicians on complex installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site or in the field.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- ExperienceThe successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in working with ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Strong mechanical skills with experience in equipment repair and appliance repair.
- Knowledge of field service operations related to HVAC/R systems.
- Experience with welding techniques as they pertain to HVAC installations.
- Ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
