Job Detail
  • Travel to customer sites to inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
  • Perform skilled, timely repairs, replacing parts as necessary.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining diagnoses, repair options, and costs.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate work orders and service documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and EPA regulations.
  • Qualifications Skills
  • Required:
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional, hands-on HVAC service experience.
  • Certification: Valid EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) is required.
  • Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Professionalism: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Work Ethic: Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Preferred (Not Required):
  • NATE Certification.
  • Completion of an HVAC trade school or apprenticeship program.
  • Experience with boilers, geothermal, or high velocity systems.
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $20 – $35 per hour
