• Walks, stands and climbs ladders
• Works indoors and outdoors
• Operates various testing instruments
• Reads schematic and wiring diagrams
• Wires, vacuums, troubleshoots, commissions and reads plans
• Properly performs soldering brazing of piping and components
• Properly handles and transfers refrigerants, per EPA requirement POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with: Air cooled and/or water-cooled systems up to 250 tons and / or
• Water source heat pumps and evaporative condensers and / or
• Data center environmental equipment and / or
• Understanding of basic HVAC controls and VFD’s and / or
• Air handling equipment including VAV systems typically found in larger commercial systems and / or
• Performing preventative maintenance on hydronic cooling heating systems and / or
• Pump and motor alignments High School Diploma or GED
• TDLR License
• Valid TX Driver’s License
• Good driving record
• EPA certificate and OSHA 10 or ability to complete it within 60 days
• 5+ Years of related experience
• Able to regularly lift 75 pounds
• Knowledge of Unitary equipment, RTU’s, VAV’s and VRF
