Job Detail
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment such as ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately perform installations and repairs.
- Conduct maintenance on mechanical systems, including plumbing and appliance repair tasks.
- Perform equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure optimal operation of HVAC/R systems.
- Diagnose issues with mechanical components using technical knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and property maintenance procedures.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety standards during all field service activities.
- Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems and upgrade existing units to improve efficiency and performance.
- Utilize technical skills in welding, boiler operation, and ammonia refrigeration when necessary for complex repairs or system modifications.
- Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic specializing in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or property maintenance.
- Construction background is a plus for installation projects involving complex mechanical setups.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and equipment repair techniques is essential.
- Experience working with air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and related mechanical components.
- Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is preferred.
- Prior field service experience involving appliance repair or maintenance work in commercial or industrial environments is highly desirable.

- EPA II Certification is REQURIED.
